Cafetería Senda

We almost walked right past it; it was rather inconspicuous. Two tables and a few chairs by the street drew our attention. We preferred to sit inside, and I was delighted with the ambiance and the service.

Good breakfasts, lovely and attentive waiters, perfectly poured beers, and free potato salad tapas. A great place for a beer or breakfast.

Rodri and Pablo are very attentive and charming. We go almost every day. It's a great café for a drink, well located and very welcoming, near the Intermodal Station and the Parliament building. The potato salad tapa is delicious. 100% recommended.

For me, it's one of the best cafes in Santiago. Rodrigo and Pablo provide exceptional customer service. Every time I go, I feel very well taken care of.

The waiter was incredibly rude. We arrived at the café and sat down on the terrace (four of us). We ordered our drinks and asked if they had anything to eat, to which he replied that they only served drinks in this bar. There was a pastry shop across the street, so we went to buy something to eat. As we were about to do so, the waiter came out and rudely told us off, saying there was a sign prohibiting bringing in food (which we hadn't seen since we sat outside as soon as we arrived). In any case, the sign clearly stated that bringing food or drinks inside the premises was not allowed. It was a huge disappointment because if he had told us otherwise, we would have understood that it was the rule and accepted it. But he practically kicked us out. That waiter was incredibly rude; I'll never set foot in that place again. 😞🤮
